Job Description:
Proficiency in safely handling hazardous materials is needed to adequately perform this job. The pool maintenance technician has to have good record keeping skills to maintain logs of the pool treatment procedures. Math skills are needed to accurately measure chemicals. Manual dexterity is required to operate maintenance tools that remove leaves and debris from the pool.
Job Duties:
Applicant is required to inspect a pool on a daily basis and follow the proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing it. Maintain appropriate supply levels of chemicals and cleaning agents. Required to physically inspect the interior of the pool along with valves and drains to ensure they are free of debris and properly functioning. Keeping safety equipment inspections up to date and inspecting decks and diving boards for defects are also regularly required for this job.

A swimming pool maintenance/service technician checks and corrects chemical levels in a pool during each service visit. Will be required to perform most basic skills ie., use of skimming nets and vacuum systems. Technician must be well-versed in removing stains in the pool and emptying pool filters. Mechanical knowledge of the working parts of water pumps, chemical dispenser systems, backflow valves and chlorinators is an essential job function. A maintenance technician must possess the ability to monitor and diagnose these systems and then obtain replacement parts and perform repairs as needed. They should have at least minimal knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems. The technician must be well acquainted with installation and repair procedures and have the physical strength to carry equipment and parts.

Job Description:
This position will oversee the establishment, growth and supervision of a swimming pool maintenance, repair and renovation business. The position has the potential to supervise up to (5) five, personnel in a large territory. Successful completion of a 12 day training program is required.
Responsibilities:
The ability initially to perform day-to day operations of business including on-site maintenance and repair of pool equipment, customer relations, billing and sales/marketing.
Education: High School Degree required; College preferred.
Technical Skills:
Ability to comfortably lift and carry 50 to 100 pounds perhaps multiple times in a day.
Business Skills:
Candor/Integrity, Problem Solving, Sense of Urgency, Team Work, Communication, Customer Awareness, Basic Accounting/Book Keeping: Basic PC skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel).
